LAHORE PAKISTAN (2013): CITYSCAPE

Lahore is a gem of a city, situated in the Pujab just twenty miles from the border with India. Its history is ancient, spanning HIndu, Mughal, and British empires. The Old City is surrounded by a wall with thirteen gates, along the Mall are British colonial buildings, and a newer posh neighborhoods surround the rest. The population of ten miiiion has doubled in the past fifteen years, and it is on its way to becomign the next Pakistani megacity after Karachi.
