VIETNAM WINTER (2016): HANOI- OLD QUARTER

After my trip to the mountains, I returned to Hanoi and stayed in a hotel at Truc Bach Lake near the Old Quarter. A record cold wave in Southeast Asia had swept in to chill the city. Residents huddled around campfires in the streets to stay warm. In spite of the hardship, people went about their usual business, commuting by motorcycle.
