In contrast to Vietnam's political capital Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, is the economic engine that drives the country. HCMC has a brash American edge to it, compared to the north. I spent the week of the Tet holiday photographing every day in District 4, a typical working-class area.
